But man is not made for defeat. A man can be destroyed but not defeated. --Ernest Hemingway

Return

I'm back. And with good reason too. I spent the past year going through my first major heartbreak. It hurt.. it hurt really bad at times. But I'm strong now. I'm weathered. Somewhat jaded but that comes with the territory. And is not always a bad thing. My life is in more of a mess now than I will ever care to make known. But it's ok the only way is up, maybe even a bit diagonal but still up. My way up. Slowly using both my arms and my legs.

College is on hold, until next fall at the very earliest.

Exciting Things, Possibilities
  • Making Action movies particularly an Action Trilogy I have in mind for a completely amateur cast & crew under the banner Black-Eyed Productions
  • U.S. Coast Guard I'm considering training to go into the Coast Guard
  • Teaching my friend Aaron how to box and wrestle (read: fight) and thus having a sparring partner
  • I'm looking for a new job. Today I pretty much peaked at my current job (waiting tables at the Black-Eyed Pea). Thanksgiving day is our busiest day. I had the biggest station and sold the most food. Yawn. Some warehouse work with full benefits is starting to sound very appealing.
  • More to come...

This past summer I spent teaching little kids how to wrestle at a summer day camp ran by my family. I did this in Corpus Christi where most of my family resides. The experience was wonderful. The kids were amazing they caught on so well. Our first demonstration was amazing. I'd put together little soundtracks for the demos. But the entrance music every times was the Kill Bill Vol. 1 trailer track. When the first demo was done I was ecstatic. I felt like I had one my first wrestling match all over again.

Another amazing experience I had in Corpus was, learning to surf. Surfing in my book ranks right up there with wrestling. It's an amazing thrill. It's hard to talk about surfing and not sound ridiculous so I wont go on to long.

I got a lot to put down but also a lot of time to do it in.
