My newest technological obsession is the new p2p file-sharing Bit Torrent. Downloads are slower and it is very hard to get the less popular or older stuff. But I set some downloads before I go to sleep and wake up with 5 classic COMPLETE albums. Nice. I'm also currently d/ling the complete second season of "the best show on TV" The Wire. It'll probably take a week or two but that's the beauty of broadband. Also the second half of the first season of Deadwood is on its way. With no cable and no public television I still manage to get the serial entertainment I want to see and none of the bullshit I don't want to see. Apparently there's a way you can set up your own TiVo using Bit torrent to d/l the shows as they premier every week.
